**Quick answer — What may I use PinnedIP proxies for?**

Lawful business and personal tasks: checking public web pages, local search and ads, prices, QA of your own sites and apps, and access to systems you are authorized to use through a fixed IP. Blocked on every IP: Online banking, government and payment sites, and the email-sending (SMTP) ports 25, 465 and 587.

## 1. Allowed uses

- Viewing and collecting public web data at a reasonable pace, within each site’s terms and robots.txt.
- Local search, ad and price checks, including [ad verification](https://pinnedip.com/use-cases/ad-verification/) of your own campaigns.
- Testing your own websites, apps and services from US consumer-ISP addresses.
- Reaching partner or company systems that allowlist your proxy IP, when you are authorized to use them.
- Managing your organization’s own online accounts within each platform’s rules.

## 2. Prohibited activities

You must not use the service for, or to help with:

- fraud, phishing, scams, identity theft, or payment and card fraud;
- account takeover, credential stuffing or testing stolen credentials;
- creating or operating accounts in bulk to deceive a platform, fake engagement, reviews or ad clicks;
- spam or any bulk messaging;
- attacks, scanning or load on systems you are not authorized to test, including denial of service;
- access to systems you are not authorized to use, or evading security measures of any system;
- buying limited goods or tickets to resell them with automated tools;
- content or activity that is illegal where you or the target are, including child sexual abuse material, which we report to the authorities;
- collecting personal data without a lawful basis;
- reselling or sharing access to the service with third parties.

## 3. Technical restrictions

Blocked on every IP: Online banking, government and payment sites, and the email-sending (SMTP) ports 25, 465 and 587. We may add targets to the block list to prevent abuse. Fair use applies: traffic that harms the network or other customers can be limited.

## 4. Abuse reports and enforcement

Send reports to abuse@pinnedip.com with the IP, the time (with time zone) and the target. A person reviews every abuse report; confirmed abuse leads to suspension. We may suspend the IPs or the account concerned without notice during a review, and terminate accounts for confirmed abuse; the balance of an account terminated for abuse is not refunded. We cooperate with authorities when the law requires it.

## 5. Sanctions

Some countries are not available, for legal or sourcing reasons, including countries and regions under comprehensive sanctions. You must not use the service on behalf of a person or entity under US sanctions.
